The old Tawau Airport holds fond memories for me as my love for aviation began there during the mid to late 70s. So to get to cruise down its runway was a most special experience! Of course, the place has been disused since around 2002, and so the tarmac/runway surface is a bit rough by now, but there were virtually no potholes at all!
