A good and diverse collection of Malaysian various culture, some nature animals artifact. Lively vibe and well kept museum in a beautiful building, built by Sir Hugh Low. The first museum in Malaysia.
Interesting museum, although a bit small. Interesting exhibits on Perak history and the place is well maintained. Clean toilet as well, possibly the cleanest in Taiping! Ample parking and good to spend an hour here for RM2 entry fee.
The Museum is well maintained , entry fees were cheap , lots to see , they have intresting unique things related to British colonies. You will enjoy it definitely. Next to the Museum there is old prison .
They still have ancient exhibits from British times. Better than Muzium Negara. But still need much improvement.
First Museum in Malaysia. A small collection of displays. Used to be free but they now charge RM 2 for malaysian citizens.
Toilet is very clean and well maintained. Good place for cultural and historical knowledge. Aircond is a bit warm at some areas. Some kids were running and shouting around so we leave earlier. But overall it is a good place to visit in Taiping.
Good effort to maintain a decent collection of Perak history. Entrance fee is also super affordable
