I like it. The rotating tower was interesting as it has 3D mural paintings that looks really realistic. The museum was informative. The guy looking after the shop was telling me about how he made the rice tea - very interesting and logical indeed. Admission was also cheap.

Because of Covid, it currently lacks some interactive parts. The painting on the dome is amazing, but it needs some mantainance. The price is worth the visit still, so please do support this place more.

Good educational place. Government did good job maintaining this place. The top floor view was magnificent. It could be better if museum provided first hand experience for visitors e.g. going into the mud, separating the rice from its kernel etc

The Kedah Paddy Museum is dedicated to the rice plant, paddy, the world's most important crop. The Paddy Museum is big, with an area of 12,000 square meters spread over three floors. The architecture of the building is designed to symbolize bushels of harvested rice stalks. This museum explains the rice cultivation process, displays different varieties of rice, showcases equipment and tools used in rice cultivation through the ages and in various countries. Must visit with your family.

Visited second time just to bring my dearest friends from Sabah to appreciate the place. Noticed they have creatively redecorated some of the settings and looks more attractive. Still many school students come by to cherish the legacy of paddy planting. Photos were taken by the museum personnel, for those visitors interested at the revolving top floor with a small fee of RM10 and a free calendar was given (apart from costume photography). I supposed it's for fundraising.
