Tried the curry noodle. Nice portion but nothing to shout about. Their signature curry do taste a little different though than others. Price is reasonable. Friendly staff. Small old traditional restaurant setup.

No 1 must have food to have in Kuantan, Pahang recommended by most travellers and food hunters online and offline. This famous shop located nearby the landmark of Teluk Cempedak. Signature dishes of the curry noodle been recommended to me even by locals. Spoken to the owner and found out they are origin from Penang. Yes, I am a Penangite so I tasted the Penang style! You may choose from varies noodles, from yellow noodles, vermicelli rice noodles, flatten rice noodles, or mixture of them. You may have options to add in some cockles into your curry noodles or opt out. The traditional Penang style are with the cockles so I opted in. Some locals did recommended to try their plain soup noodles perhaps I would have a try in next trip. Car parking lots are available right in front of the shop or opposite the road prepared by local councils, so do remember to pay for the parking during Monday to Saturday day times (except on public holidays) to avoid getting summons. Dine in and take-aways are available. Dine in availability been reduced due to the COVID19 SOP. However, there are some sittings at the back of the shop if you go further into the shop. Locals are good in pointing you to have a sit inside. You may have a short walk less than 3 minutes to visit the beach of Teluk Cempedak after eating here. Give me a thumb up if you read this and if this comment helps you.

The curry itself is ok , the mee is slightly overcooked ..... Overall it's passable but not mind-blowing delicious. Jz average

Great curry noodles! Not for the faint hearted, it was a tiny bit spicy. Shrimp and chicken based broth, heavy on the Curry leaves and a light touch of coconut milk. Noodles were firm and well-textured. Good amount of shrimp flavour came through the broth in the lovely bits at the bottom! The winner of the dish though were the tofu skin/sponges. Soaked up the Curry perfectly and were so soft!

I'm a curry laksa mee specialist... hehehe... So the verdict, I would say the curry mee was average... I've tasted halal curry mee around the country, and this place serves an average. But I would definitely give it a class up for providing a real classic kopitiam style atmosphere that gives this place an additional attraction.
