Fort Hose construction began in 1889 and completed in 1901 named after Charles Hose.The fort was built with belian hardwood which was very durable and until now the building still in good condition. It was built at the top of the hill along the Baram River which is second longest river in Sarawak.Good environment and beautiful scenery.

Needs maintenance and proper management of it's contents, needs proper display and proper lightings as well. Very disappointed that our history is not getting enough attention from the authority.
