It's a hot, humid and no breeze day. Entrance Fee ; Malaysia Rm5/. Unfortunately, Foreign pays Rm30/. It's advisable to go there during feeding time. 10.30am or 3.30pm. I noticed very few Orang Utan during this visit since my last visit 5yrs ago. Kindly note, there is a locker for your bags. Hand bags or any other bags are not allowed. Carry your essential, mobile, camera, water n hat. Spare some time to visit the Nursery. Which close at 4.30pm. THIS is a must. To the management, I suggest to update and repair the platform. Please click LIKE for your support. TQ.

What a wonderful place to see a beautiful & gentle species. The work this sanctuary does is fabulous and the people who work or volunteer here must live an emotional rollercoaster every day but so rewarding when they know that their efforts are making a difference. You are very unlikely to see them in the open walk only at the 2 main feeding & viewing areas, where you would be very unlucky not to get some fantastic photos. A must go!

Such an amazing experience to see the orangutans! Your ticket covers the cost of the morning and afternoon viewings. Sightings at the feeding station are not guaranteed. Someone I had met mentioned that they had not seen any the previous day, and would try his luck. When I went, I was able to see two adult orangutans, and one baby one. There is a also a nursery for the baby orangutans just off from the boardwalk. Lockers are free for storage of bags, and there is also a video the can be watched to raise awareness on orangutan conservation.

Very hard see orang utan in close distance. But is a good experience let's children see how we need to protect animal from human being that destroyed their habitat
