Take a moment to flee from the concrete Jungle of Kuala Lumpur. Start this little adventure of yours with the small town, Sekinchan. Dive into refreshing greenery offering the best quality of fresh air one can seek for in this fast-paced city! Walking along the paddy field, compliment your little feed with the fresh green views, giving it the right amount of colour to create the picturesque vibe you deserve! A friendly reminder here, the field is green from middle of March till May (and middle of Sep till Nov), goes yellowish in mid of May till June (and mid of Nov till Dec). As we know timing is everything, so plan your trip well to avoid disappointment.

It is quite a sight to see such green fields. But it is small scale. If you want to really see endless paddy fields, take a trip to Kedah. Also look out for the appropriate seeding, growing and harvesting seasons. You don't want to drive all the way there to see that all the paddy fields are harvested.

Green fields, blue sky. Get rid of your worries. Enjoy the horizon of serenity. Walk, cycle and explore the corners of Sekinchan. Plenty of coffeeshops are serving seafood in this area, but might need to drive around. Besides posing for tons of photos, kids might be able to appreciate how their rice are sourced from paddy fields. Recommended to stay at least one night.

General impression was not too bad but the place can be better in terms of infrastructure and more tourist friendly environment. The traffic was not nice as people do not want to give way when crossing the junction and tends to drive faster if you want to come out from small road to main road.....
