4/5 from personal experience: 10am Monday 4.3.2019 arrived with plenty of car parks around the Immigration office, try back lanes too. Remember to put up parking tickets. 10.15am get a Queue number, there were 33 pax in front of me. If you are an early bird unlike me, you may have a faster process. 12pm my turn at Passport process counter. Since I am doing renewal of passport, I just need to hand over old passport and IC. Staff took photo, preferably wear black, white or dark shirt, else don the black jacket given to you. 12.20pm wait to pay rm200 cash. You will be given a red receipt to collect new passport in 1 hour. 1.20pm got my new passport. I wish all the 8 counters were manned to speed up process, only 2-3 counters open this morning. However the staff were all polite and helpful. Kudos and Thank You.

First floor reception attitude very rude. I assume Thai ppl doesn't know how to speak Malay isn't wrong . And the reception acts rude and scold my mother for doesn't know how to speak Malay.

My sister has to renew her passport and we reached the place at 9.30 am. There wasn't a big crowd. Overall the process was fast and efficient. My sister was able to collect her passport at 11 am. Great service.

applying visa for my mom. arrived on 6AM. people said it will be packed but when i arrived no people on queue! haha on 7.15AM the guard will let us to queue in front of the door. it stated that the service will be start on 7.30AM but in fact, we were able to enter on 7.45AM ; .the building was not good especially the toilet!!! i choose to hold it and search for another toilet outside the building. it was so dirty and smelly. they have 3 toilets and we can just use 1 of them! errrh. the visa, pass are on 2nd floor; my documents should be ok since I already prepare everything. I gave them the reference letter from the hospital stated that my mom was unable to come because shes sick, but the immigration didnt believe what was written on the letter! she asked my mom to come! or i need to print the photo of my mom sleeping in hospital's bed. luck i have the photo of her sleeping in hospital's bed so i can print it out. i just dont understand why they didnt believe the reference letter. what if i dont have the photo of her?? it took 4 hours for me from i got the queue number until its done. RM 100 for the visa. anyway... outside the building there are photocopy service and in case you didnt understand how to fill the form, you can pay for RM 5 for them to fill it for you.

Went there around 3PM in the afternoon on a Friday to renew passport and there was some queue. After getting the number on counter 2, waited for about 30 minutes until my turn to do the application and another 30 minutes to make payment, which certainly can be improved given there was only one counter for payment. You can get your renewed passport after one hour. The fee is RM200 for five years validity. If you need to renew early before it expires, they will only give you back 6 months tops and you need to fill up a form saying your reason for renewing it long before it expires.

Over a hundred people waiting and only 2 counters open when they built 9 counters. For 15 minutes, the numbers are not running at all. 12.15pm say can collect passport. Their clock said 12.15pm when I reached counter and the officer say it's not yet 12.15pm. So I point to the clock behind her and she said the clock malfunctioning... It's sometimes fast, sometimes slow. What a joke.
