This premise of landed property is called 'Saddad Court' after the name of the property owner, Tuan Haji Saddad Haji Sazali. It was once the office for his transport and forwarding company 'SADDAD' and later expanded and diversified his business into food and catering services with which he ran a food court at the same location for a few years and named it ‘Saddad Court’. Later on his food court ceased its operations and the place was rented out to other food court operators. Upon his retirement from active businesses, he renovated the whole property and is now fully rented out to a kitchen homeware retail store, 'Sama Kampung', while still maintaining ownership of the property and its name 'Saddad Court'.
