Slow service and the officer named Nor Faeza is rude and not friendly . She seems don't know about the basic service for student who wanna further their studies abroad . Need to wait for so long before I go the counter and ask again , then they just begin to process my application :(

Walking from Thai border to the immigration complex of Malaysia was not difficult at all...less than one kilometer! I found that the Malaysian immigration officers were polite and very helpful. The crossing process was so easy...no need to fill-in the paper. My backpack was searched by a woman who smiled when finding a small bag of oats. From there I just walked a little bit to take a taxi to Pengkalan Hulu (Kroh).
Malaysian side immigration to get passport stamped before crossing over to Betong border crossing. Actually it's quite speedy if paperwork /passport all in order. At the booth unnecessary to leave vehicle. I find often the bottleneck is on the immigration, Betong side. Mandatory to leave car, form single file towards thai passport officer's window. On a busy day which is often on long weekends, it takes up minimum 30 mins. or more just to get passport stamped.
The officer handling our passport was effective.
