We selected 15 items from the menu for dinner. Overall, we were not disappointed with our selection. Tasty dishes and the seafood items most importantly fresh. Didn't try the ramen and rice based items though as its 'limit-up' for our bellies. Guess we will have to arrange for another visit here.

Food here is not bad but price is on the higher side. My experience here with the service aren't as bad as other review here.

First time here. Food was average, price was slightly higher than average. One of the waitress who served us has an attitude problem. The superior and another staff were more attentive but we're probably not going back again.

Nice Japanese food in Penang. Recommend the pork ramen and also the salmon which is tender and juicy. Great one at slightly higher price.

I am shocked at the low rating of this wonderful restaurant. Looks like all the low reviews are bias towards the slow service. This is not what I experienced for lunch, but may quite possibly be the case for dinner if they only have 2 waiters. I'd suggest getting a waiter constantly keeping watch on the entrance for table service. The waiter that served me was quite attentive to detail, gave me suggestions and ideas about my order where needed. I had the spicy ramen. Unlike Ippudo, you can't choose the noodle hardness here. But the taste here is definitely better and at a lower price for lunch menu (RM19.90). My only complaint is that there are too much broth and this overshadowed the presentation, the sliced pork belly, seaweed and perfectly cooked onsen egg (温泉卵). Gyoza in the lunch set was made tasteless intentionally so you can simply control the taste for yourself using noodle broth, chill oil, soy sauce or something else. As comparison, Ippudo's gyoza had thick skin with less filling, this has a very good ratio. The small salad was fresh as well. Salmon belly nigiri was awesome. You can actually taste the umami flavour from the salmon as it melts into your mouth. The other version of salmon nigiri was meh, though. The berry lemonade might be slightly too sweet, for me anyway. (Slightly too many berries) Not to mention the great decor, ambiance and Japanese music playing in the background. 10/10 recommends.

Decent japanese - american food. The yakimono set ( glazing garlic sauce salmon ) came with a really small portion of salmon. At least it tasted pretty good? The Hawaiian pizza was a tad dissapointing as well, it was lacking in something, maybe pineapples? maybe tomato base? Idk. It just didn't taste like "Hawaiian pizza". Tried the snow beer too, it was just really² cold beer. They have free WiFi though.

Taste of food is not bad. But seriously from Google reviews talking about their service. No wonder there's not much crowd here. As waiter and waitress their faces and attitude made you don't feel welcomed. I am a customer should thank them. But seems like they're dumb or deaf? And not happy to work here? Seriously the owner has to pick better staffs

We tried their lunch sets Teriyaki Chicken, Spicy Ramen Chicken Karaage and Promotional Sushi set. The seating and layout are Izakaya style atmosphere which in japanese means a type of Japanese bar in which a variety of small, typically inexpensive, dishes and snacks are served to accompany the alcoholic drinks or in short it is more to bistro cum pub or drinking place with finger food establishment. The promotional sushi set comprise of salmon, tamago, tuna, nigiri and ebi are of normal and average in taste, presentation and flavor. Same goes for the bento set on Teriyaki Chicken with Gohan (Rice) and Spicy Ramen (Noodle) with Chicken Karaage (Deep Fried). Their so called bento set only come with Miso soup. Limited choice of food but many types of beers, hard liquor and wines.
