The starting point and the ending point are not connected, so either have to walk back to the starting point and let someone bring the vehicle to ending point. There are boat rides available for 30-40 rm per head which will take you to eagle feeding which goes through the Chinese fishing village. Walk in the mangrove usually takes 60 minutes.

Be here on 19/11/2019. This place is closed for walk in visitors until further notice. However it is opened for school trip with advance notice. Contact the management for further information. This is a place to visit if you are going to Taiping. Lots of thing to learn here about mangrove. Hope it will open very soon to public and managed well by the authorities.

Hidden spot for family activity in Taiping. The eagles here are more active and up close compared to the Langkawi eagle sightings. Not sure how many of them are still considered 'wild' if the boatman continues to feed them. Did not manage to go and see the fireflies but may try to next time. Bargaining is required for the local boat fares.

I think they should add up something educational yet entertaining in this place. Put more activities that the visitor can enjoy.

Its a best place to check it out during morning or evening especially if you're enjoy a long distance walk and calm environment. We made a mistake of coming here during noon (It was hot but luckily there were lot of trees shaded the path). The place is gorgeous for a nature lover but it was a bit of a run down. Please be extra careful while walking using the path as some of the woods went missing.
