THE HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE LASTS A LITTLE LONGER If you have stayed at the Westin or st Regis while in langkawi you can take advantage of the private lounge at the airport (domestic flights). Small with limited food and drinks but a bit of comfort and quiet. Toilets and power outlets

A small lounge where you can get coffee, tea, selected cold drinks, biscuits and candy. There are seats to read with enough power points for all your power needs, WiFi for your Internet needs. Toilets are clean, staff are friendly and waiting is bearable unless there are too many guests.

Front desk staff is rude. My friend had stayed at the Westin for a week, he went to check in to the private lounge and was told it was invite only. None of this had been clarified before we tried to check in and relax before our flight.

It's has a nice deco and we were only made aware of the lounge by the St Regis staff when we were checking out which is a life saver. Simple snacks but wish they had more selection. The staff was good as maintained the same standard as the hotel.

Currently the only lounge left in this airport (after the plaza premium one shutdown) and it is exclusive to guests of Westin and St. Regis. Theoretically it is a great way to continue the starwood/Marriott luxury stay experience than fighting the drudgery of the chaos outside. However, this lounge is situated on the domestic side of the gate so when trying to fly out internationally, there is no way to avoid passing security just to get into the lounge. Afterwards, you'd have to get back out and pass security again for international departure. A big hassle but given the airport's layout, it cannot be helped. The lounge is nicely decorated with Westin / st. Regis style furniture. The staff was great as expected from the hotels too. What was lacking was the food selection since they only have light snacks and some beverages. That's adequate for a regular airport lounge but seems off-key when compared to the luxury decor and experience they are trying to offer. All in all, even with the hassle of multiple security checks, it was worth the visit and definitely a nice going away gift from st. Regis and Westin.
