Beautiful place to relax and watch birds fly by and monitor lizards swim by. Lots of hydrophytes present as well. You get a good view from the look out tower. But the top floor is very much covered in Bird poop, so you can't sit down, bring your own foldable stool. There is a seating area at the waterside, but this is also covered in bird poop, so bring something to clean it up. The road there is still very bumpy.

this place is a waterbird paradise. heaven for birdist. can make bird watching activities. more than 50 species of birds can found here easily. bring your bino or super camera. email to me, and i can bring u here with very affordable package.
Nice relaxing place. Few type of birds. Otter sighted too. Another good place in Perak where very few people know. Unfortunately the road enter to this place quite bad. This is near Batu Gajah.
The place was reserved for research purpose and its kinda isolated. One of the pathway toward the park is in real bad condition with portholes through the 14km road next to Kinta River (no issue if its a heavy duty vehicle or on foot). Some section of the pathway was not accessible as it was flooded. On the contrary the park was clean and there is a good view point. Lucky ones at the right time will spot some birds flying around at its own habitat as there was no time specified there for bird watching or caged birds in display️.
The park, which consists of 14 disused tin-mining ponds, now features restored watchtower, pavilions, walkways and toilets. Kinta Nature Park is located on the outskirts of Batu Gajah. Therefore, from the main road, one has to drive 5km along the bank of the Kinta River to reach the entrance of the 900-hectare park. This is a laterite road, which could cause damage to the undercarriage of car or its tyres, unless you drive a heavy-duty vehicle. In any case, steer slowly and carefully. Said to be one of the largest heronries in Malaysia, I believe the best times to come for bird-watching are early morning and in the evenings.
Excellent place for aquatic bird watching . There is a severe lack of information about the various birds found in the park. The park management and the State government need to get their act right quickly to make this place an excellent tourist attraction. The current dirt road (currently filled with large potholes) leading to the park needs to be upgraded to be a full metalled road.
