This is a great place to visit. Many traditional buildings, in different stages of quality, some have started to fall apart. Good place to learn more about the history of Malaysia. The tunnel of History in the museum you should see for yourself. As you are not allowed to take any photos. Don't forget to check out the bottom floor with a large collection of Keris from different parts of the Malay Archipelago.

Interesting place for those who like history. Artifacts like Keris got a lot here
Located by the banks of the Perak River, this is great place to learn about the nation's history, especially in its nationalist movement. Pasir Salak serves as an important part of this movement as it was here that British Resident, J.W.W Birch was murdered, which ultimately sparked the nationalist movement. You should not miss the Time Tunnel as you can get more information about the nationalist movement in every State. There is also a magnificent collection of keris not to be missed. This is indeed a great place for photography and a great tool to teach our young about history.
I like about history information in Terowong Sejarah especially kris gallery. We can see Cura Si Manjakini kris which is speciall kris for Perak Royal.
Historical place, but not well preserved.. such a wasteful.. There's a resort nearby, but also in 'not well maintained' facilities.
To be managed properly and needed more promotion by local authorities.
Must visit place to learn a glimpse of perak history and the nation history as well!!!! time tunnel is enlightening, but i personally enjoyed the keris gallery located on the basment floor, learnt so much about the arts of keris with the assistance of a knowledgeable museum guide... The place is a bit far off from town but worth the journey
Nice environment. For more effective tour, you can ask for a guide. He is a very remarkable and knowledgable guide. The upper floor contain chronological diorama about Malaysian history. Down floor contain hundreds of keris. You have to pay to enter. The outside landscape is beautiful and great for photography.
