Must try Sibu local food - Kompia. This delicacy is a Chinese bread with sesame seed topping. Freshly baked from Jason's bakery! Many different varieties are sold here but the best seller is in the front of his shop. Can be eaten on its own or with meat filling or local spreads like Kaya.
Although we used to buy their local traditional foochow delicacies "Kom Pia" (clay oven baked buns) was quite delicious but their sheer arrogance in attitude towards customers was a real turn off.
