Considering the amount of people that flow through here, they are fairly quick and very efficient. Certainly helpful and willing to explain all you need to know. Hours are included in my photos. Note: Aug.1, 2020 because of Covid 19 virus you can no longer just walk in. NEED to make appointment online, see photo for web address.

I just called the Imigresen Sarawak office today 11am 18March2020. The service was EXCELLENT. The lady provided me with all the information I needed to know in the most polite manner. Myself was even surprised with such a good service especially from a government department. Well done to all the staff at Immigration office Kuching.

Always very helpful and friendly. As I'm married to a Chinese Malaysian woman I have to visit immigration regularly and I've always been treated well and with respect.

The guard was mistaken and misinformed me about needing to email SDMC to seek permission to exit the country. I called SDMC to clarify. They told me that I don't need to seek permission to exit, only to enter the country.
