Nice place to visit for those looking for an adventure and something different. The drive by car takes around 30min. The road is tarred but not very smooth, on the top there's an observation area overlooking padang Matsirat. The government should consider renovating the tower and the hotel to attract more visitors.

Nice high ground, fresh air and sometimes cold with the wind blow

Great view unfortunately the viewing tower is closed. We drove all the way to the top. On the way up, we saw a few hungry skinny stray dogs. Luckily we had some breads to feed them. To animal lovers, please bring some food for the abandoned dogs(if you don't mind) as it is really heart breaking to see them.

Scenic and easily accessible mountain in the heart of Langkawi. Drive through cooling lush tropical rainforest. Keep an eye out for the hornbills. Sadly, the watch tower and hotel at the mountain top is no longer in operation.

You will have a peak view above the mountain. Scenery is good. Nice to ride motorcycle through the road. Will enjoy. There is a tower it cost 10 rm per person

Great vantage point to get good aerial photos of Langkawi Island and look over into Thailand on clear cloudless days. Tower is currently closed for renovations (I hope) so not accessible and this reduces aerial reach of photo coverage. Winding mountainous tar road to reach the top with viewing points along the route. Also possible to walk up the steep path to the top for the more energetic (but this is quite strenuous). With mountain streams/waterfalls dotted along the route (dependant on rainfall) and plenty of monkeys and other wildlife to be spotted on the mountainside it's a must for nature lovers.

Got our driver to drive up to the top. We found out that there is trek for those who are interested to climb up. The view is stunning and there is a lovely vantage point. Worth working into your itinerary if you have a private driver. You are able to see most of the island from up here and you can sometimes spot the famous hornbills.
