An old ferry terminal that serves public ferry from Butterworth to Penang island. It is directly linked to Penang Sentral transportation hub. Each passenger needs to pay RM 1.20 for crossing ferry service. Ferry departs every 20 minutes.

This is novelty, sentimental . If not, save your time and take the bridge. The ride cost RM7.70 for passenger car. I don't know if the operation still making money but surely, the Gov must keep this service going on for sentiment reason. Heck! The famous yellow ferry (although not anymore) printed on almost every fridge magnet and tees at Penang's souvenir shops. It is Penang.
