The Tuyang Initiative is a social enterprise that works closely with the Dayak (indigenous) communities of Sarawak, Malaysia's Borneo in the inclusive development of talents, products & services in areas of cultural-heritage for a chance at sustainable alternative income and preservation of tradition, art & culture. The Tuyang's Vision: 1. The Dayak (indigenous) communities, especially its rural members shall have sustainable, alternative economic opportunities from wherever they call home. 2. With empowerment through capacity building, they shall be skilled, self-determined and responsible entrepreneurs. 3. With market access, tradition, art & culture shall also thrive as they continue practicing and justly earning from it. "Tuyang"​ means "buddy"​ in the Kenyah language.
