Much has been said about nurturing the youth as future leaders, but these ‘future leaders’ are very often not given the opportunity to voice out their views, to develop their social initiative projects, for the betterment of our country. This is where myHarapan steps in. The projects we provide support to, range from educating the poor and refugees, feeding the homeless, helping those in rural areas both to increase and manage their income to developing good citizenry among their peers. We also provide avenues to help these youth improve their skills and hone their talents, whether it is through training, workshops or mentorship programmes. myHarapan also connects these youth to various related stakeholders to ensure that the projects garner the support from all aspects that they need. We also educate them on how best to present their projects, from concept to execution stage and beyond. The future of our country will lie in our youth, therefore it is essential that we bring hope and the conviction that these youth are on the right path for a better society and a healthy and developed nation.
