This place is amazing... private accommodation where you can enjoy the spectacular sunrise. Relaxing and fun yoga by the sea with the best view of mentawak beach. Cant wait to go back.

We did not stay in there but we participated in the yoga and it was really nice! The spot was beautiful and the teacher was very good. The accommodations looked pretty from the outside.

I really wish I didn't have to write this bad review, but because everyone needs to be cautious and stay away from the Yoga Retreat with Jesse from Ombak House, I really feel like I need to warn others. I had booked a 10 days Yoga Retreat (package incl. breakfast, private yoga sessions, massage, snorkeltrips) with Ombak House and I was charged 710 Euros prior to arriving in Malaysia. When I arrived she sent me a schedule of the first 5 days where I noticed that my private yoga classes were suddenly going to clash at the same time as the public group classes, when I was told that I could go to both sets of classes. After my first two days she started postponing or cancelled on me, and sometimes went missing too, even no breakfast was served anymore. This was unacceptable as I had already paid for a full package. When I requested her for a refund, she blocked me on the phone so I could not reach her again. Both she and her husband acted completely unethical, unprofessional, and were a complete fraud. I was so upset that she had ruined my entire vacation since yoga and relaxation was the reason for this trip. I went to the police to help get a refund, and I was told that a lot of people have had trouble with her in the past. The police was not able to help me with the refund as she is a foreigner. She kept around 500 Euros of my money for services I never received. This is a warning to everyone else - do not use Ombak House, as you will not get any part of what you pay for.

Whilst I didn’t get the chance to stay at Ombak house I was able to do a fantastic yoga session there. Right on the point in Juara, it has great views and beautiful atmosphere.

booked a climbing session with soyok, and the experience was awesome! soyok is very knowledgeable and helpful, and helped open routes for us to climb. will definitely look for him again when we return next time!

I attended just for the daily yoga. This was so relaxing overlooking the ocean. They have yin at 6pm and Hatha at 8. I loved the relaxing yin class I attended - it was perfect to end the day. I’ll return tomorrow for Hatha!
