The ferry wait till full to start moving. Sometimes wait till 40 minutes. Small car have to take precaution because it really lower and easily break your bumper. Positives comment, it make people cross river.

During festive season or the Regatta, the queue will be quite long, stretching even further than the signboard itself. Local Marudians recommend going in or out of Marudi early in the morning. Pay RM1.00 for any type of vehicle -big or small- to cross the Baram river. Verdict:

Ridan Ferry Point plays a very important role in the road transport between Marudi and Miri. Recently it takes about two and half hours traveling between this places by vehicles. One Ringgit is charged per vehicle at each toll. Depart every fifteen minutes. Very convenient and improvement in progress.
