Walked by this museum several times back in Feb. Despite this museum advertised as being open, I’ve never seen it open any time I’ve visited the city. You’ll likely walk past this if you’re in the museum district, but don’t have your heart set on it.

UMNO Museum is a museum located in Melaka, Malaysia. It is a museum that holds historical items pertaining to the establishment and struggle of UMNO. The objective including to record all UMNO achievements in Melaka politics and country. Produce a documentation of UMNO's role in generating the interests of the Malays and the development of Malaysia. Giving knowledge to today's generation about UMNO's contribution as the Alliance and the Barisan Nasional's leading party in leading politics, administration and development of Malacca and Malaysia. Become an information center on UMNO and Malaysian politics to the public and tourists. Show respect and appreciation to Malacca and Malaysia UMNO leaders who have served religion, race and country. Respecting the history of race and religion as a patriotism boost among Malaysians. The museum exhibits historical matters related to the founding and struggle of UMNO like Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Abdullah Allahyarham Haseem Hamid Halim Shah II, Tun Haji Abdul Razak bin Dato' Haji Hussein, Hussein bin Dato' Onn, Mahathir bin Mohamad and Tun Dato' Sri Haji Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi. The opening time of the museum opens everyday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. except Friday in which it closes from 12.45 p.m. until 2.45 p.m.
