Its a historical site: The last sultan of Melaka; Sultan Mahmud. It was under construction when I visited, more of maintenance work. It was still well kept though. Good visit.

Nice place to go for some peace and tranquility. There is actually a historical story or folk lore on this. I wont dwell on it since you can easily find this information on youtube or even just by googling it. Back to the point. This place is 10mins off the main road and just along the river. The entrance is on the right of the place. A yellow building visible way before you reach this venue. In this location, resided the resting place of a past Sultan (King). There are also other graves behind the resting area of the Sultan. This is presumably past family members and even guards/maids who are faithful to the Sultan. Cant be definitely sure but you can visit them and recite a (or more) dua for them if u drop by. There are also some locals that are staying in the compound, probably care takers of the venue or maybe descendants. The mosque, bout within d compound, is enough to also hold small congregations and events. A very tranquil place to go to. Sideline abit, u can also just go further down to fish since the river is just nearby. Enjoy ur trip down and keep cool always ya..
