Breath taking view and the air was soo chilly at 2pm, they said it’d be way cooler during sunrise, would like to come here again during better weather conditions

Great view of Langkawi facing toward Pantai Cenang; I walked up steps from Ulu Melaka (Beware there are 4000 steps and can be challenging). The first 2000 steps are easy and very evenly spaced. The final 1000 or so are unevenly spaced and some trees are blocking the path. Some leeches after rain so be mindful. Whole walk took 1.5hr, but recommended time maybe 2hr.
This lookout point is a perfect spot for viewing sunset of Langkawi. The road up to the mountain is winding and hilly but not too difficult. The weather here is chilly and it gets even colder when the sun goes down.
The place you can see the Langkawi outstanding view above sea level
Poorly maintained and relatively hazy. Unable to get a good view. Description board is in Malay without an English version.
Best spot for sunset at langkawi !
Great view (in January), very nice walk through the jungle up the 4287 stairs which end here. You can also drive by car or scooter to this spot, the view is better than on the top, however you can see part of the mangrove forest from the top.
If it hadn't been so cloudy the view would have been awesome, I took the 4000 steps route and although it was grueling it was a nice accomplishment!
