The best Chinese Food Restaurant in Kuching. Previously it was Tsui Hua Lau Restaurant which I 1st dined in , in year 1978- the best restaurant since seventies. It maintains its authentic "kor char bi" tastes. Must eat 1. Pai kut ong, 2. Pak Lo Duck, 3. Crispy Noodles, 4.Butter Prawn, 5. Shark Fin Soup. 6. White Prompet 2 tastes or equavalent. Remember no.1 and no.2 is the MUST. Mr.Lim

we ordered our chap goh meh dinner and scheduled to collect at 5pm. Arrived there at 4:30 and waited along with a lot customers until 7pm. In the end we had to cancelled last min due to overwhelming orders and their kitchen cannot cope with all orders. We had to go for KFC instead for our chap goh meh reunion dinner, disappointing experience. They should not accept too much customers order if they couldn't cope with it. Hope they would improve this next time.

This is one of favourite Chinese restaurant in Kuching. Service level can be a challenge at times but personally I have been lucky and have always had pretty pleasant experiences. My recent dinner was also good. The few dishes that I must have (but you need more people for these dishes) when I am here are : 1. Double boiled minced pork with scallop and water chestnut 2. 2 flavour fish (Deep fried with mango and stir fried slices) 3. Money bags (Dumplings) 4. Suckling pig (the ONLY place I will eat this because there is no after taste or smell) 5. Lettuce crab meat cup Yep, those are the dishes I would highly recommend.

Remains of famous Tsui Hua Lau Restaurant, this touch bearer still serves all its famous dishes and then some more. Occupying smaller premises, the place is always full. Advance booking is advisable. Great food & pleasant service.
