My first internship's experience in Datum ClearMind has been very rewarding because I have acquired and learned new skills. My colleagues are very helpful . In my first two weeks of internships , i took a lot of adapting in understanding the company workflow and completing the tasks. They devote their time and their efforts in guiding me when i was struggling in completing my tasks. Moreover , Datum has one of the best working environment . The office is fully furnished and it is neat and tidy all the time.

The M4 system has helped us in maximizing our resources by optimizing the productivity of our technicians . We are able to monitor them real-time and we have also increase our administration’s efficiency by deploying the staff to do other duties otherwise used to do the job manually . First of all I would like to thank each and every one in Datum ClearMind to guide me throughout this 3 months of internship. I’ve learned so much of things in this short period which will be useful in future. Datum gives me an opportunity to work in a real time projects and it is obviously a good exposure since it will be really helpful once I back to university life and once I graduated. I’ve been assigned to work in a team with senior developers to create User Interfaces for current project. My seniors helped me a lot during the development phase, they have been checking on me every day to make sure that I didn’t left behind. My seniors also will make sure that every day I will learn new things. Their guidance has brought me to the end of the internship successfully without any circumstances. I would like to thank my seniors for that. Not to be forgotten, Datum’s management whom always there to take care of staff’s welfare and always understands staff’s situation. As from my experience Datum is one of the company that having a very systematic management. These 3 months have been a great time for me to enhance my programming skills and self-esteem. Lastly I really hope to work with Datum again in the future to gain more knowledge and develop my skills. Once again I would like to thank everyone here at Datum to be very nice to me and teach me everything from A-Z. Thank you.

In Datum, I have learnt new things and gain more knowledge that would definitely would not get from university life. The moment stepping out of comfort zone, challenges will knock on your door, and Datum is the best suitable place for learning and getting to overcome those challenges. I have interning for four months over here, learning new programming languages, getting more familiar to BIS stuff, and even trying on automation testing of the web application, these have enriched my knowledge in the field of IT. It could be tough when you need to learn things all from the beginning which is truly different with the one you learnt from university, but luckily people works as family over here, solving problems together and no one is alone. Feeling grateful that I got the opportunity to having my internship in Datum.

All the staff are very friendly and despite being an intern, I had received no mistreatment and was instead treated like the other co-workers who had worked here for months. Datum is our trusted IT solutions provider and we have been with Datum since 2008. Initially we do not have a proper computer system in our business hence we have to rely mainly on manual documentation which wasted a lot of our manpower & times resources. However ever since our management has appointed Datum to provide the IT system to us, we have improved in our customer service & operational efficiency by cutting time in retrieving customer information from the system and using MFS to have real time uploading jobs to our ground technicians without them coming back to office. As a result, we do enjoy some cost saving in our P&L. I am glad that Datum has a strong dedicated experienced technical team which able to help us troubleshooting our IT issues and also customise some our requests in our IT platform in order to suit our business need. I will definitely recommend others if they are looking to have a IT solutions provider.
