It is a primary area for you to run away from busy city life. Quite, cool and relax place to pause your life.But owner seems lack of management skills and maintenance awareness. Hope those facilities still the same after certain period.Do bring own insect repellent with you all the time. Definitely a nice place if you are looking for inner calm and peace

Super nice host, very friendly and helpful. The place is somewhere 15mins from the town, but hey, who cares when u have a branch of friends/ family . We booked the whole place as 25 guests , we prepared our own tent and sleeping bags. The venue is just perfect for BBQ, gathering, the line is not good, please prepare some board game or cards to play, or else just enjoy the time with nature. Host and his family definitely was the highlight of this guesthouse
Another Cuti-Cuti Malaysia chapter, we stayed in a small piece of land within a plantation, that's 15 mins away from Kuala Kurau, a small town 1.5 hours away from Ipoh. It's away from any population, and there's barely any data signal, so this is as much of going back to nature as it can get. Even though the entrance reminds me of those thriller scenes where a group of ppl would go into the forest to get killed off, the homestay is beautiful. It has small chalets, with their own washrooms (surprisingly clean, given its in a plantation!). The rooms are well taken care and reasonably clean, space is not too big but enough to put it stuff. Outside there's a lounge with many nostalgic items, and the owner cooks up breakfast here. The owner is super friendly and very hospitable. They purposely prepared soft boiled eggs upon our request. Overall a great experience staying here! - 8/10
