I was visiting this place on July 2020. The admisson is free and the staff very helpful. But you are not allowed to get to 2nd floor. You can admire the traditional architecture and there are a little bit history about sultan perak also. Big kids friendly but small kids still can enjoy there.

Ok la, but not allowed to go up in the building when i was there. Maybe the doing some maintenance, so sad. Free admission

As other people mentioned, the construction is supposed to be done by 26 March, 2019 but it wasn't available for viewing on the day I visited (2 December, 2019). The museum looks very nice from outside though.

Beautiful from the outside. Amazing because I've only seen it in my history great book. Sadly, it was closed for renovations until an unknown time.

It was built without single use of nail. The architecture is very traditional and beautiful. Unfortunately, visitors now only can take photos outside but cannot enter as it still undergoing restoration process for so long.
