A great hill to climb. There are many steep places, some need rope to climb. Children are not recommended to climb due to that. Preferably climb early in the morning because it will get very hot at noon. Bring water too but drinks are sold at registration counter too.

1. 6 checkpoints if hike without guide. 12 checkpoint with guide 2. Personally think its quite slopy and scary to hike alone. and no one to share the joy of finding a beautiful panorama on the hill top. 3. Better hike early morning especially if its cloudy. Super hot as its an exposed area hardly with shades. 4.rm3 entrance. 5. View is quite nice, so I think rm3 is not too bad. But I do hope there's more improvement on the safety facilities like ropes, fences etc or they will just lose to other new arising competitors

Located not very far from the Apin Apin junction of the Keningau Apin Apin Road. Entrance fees was (Feb 2018) - Entrance rm3 - Guide rm5 (to take you all the way to checkpoint 12) - Certificate rm 5 (optional) There is a total of 12 checkpoints, spanning across 9hills.The track itself isnt especially long.A fit person may take under an hour to get to Checkpoint 6. The hike up to the first checkpoint was a bit steep, followed by a short trek through a rubber plantation. The other checkpoints are located on hilltops. Some climbs require ropes but it isnt especially hard. The hill just after checkpoint 6 is quite treacherous, thus the need for a guide. You will need ropes to climb up and down the steep cliffs. Please bring a good pair of hiking gloves because all the ropes will and do hurt your palms. Be very careful when going downhill, the loose small stones can be very slippery and you risk falling into the ravine. There's also a small risk of insect stings (bees/wasps),just be careful and dont panic. The view on top is scenic enough but not really something breathtaking. All in all a must visit if you a hiking junkie!
