The staff are attitude are alright, but should really be trained to conversed in English because there are foreign tourists around. And the place need proper maintenance because it looks run down. The counter also helpful and pass me a leaflet with the accommodation rate in Bako National Park.

Parking limited, people smoking everywhere. Hard to get any info about the boat service. Its like no one care about people that go there. Smh.

Important: boats schedule changes. It's because the boats cannot work when the tide is too low. So you must find out about this before going, either contact the national park (by phone), or the tourism information in Kuching (walk in or call them, open on office hours on week days). Buses number 1 (painted red) to Kuching (3.50 Ringgit) leave every hour just in front of the jetty. Don't be fooled by the van drivers telling you the bus just left, they just want to sell you a chartered van journey (40 Ringgit).

upgraded facilities at park and jetty. but the food at park is expensive. should also hv more beech activities to promote the park. the jungle trails and platform requires better maintenance.
