Friendly community place that has been around for a while. Place comes with a song request system VIA mobile app, definitely a great way to have fun with your friends while picking your fav songs. Make sure to drop by for a drink with friends and have a chat with the owner :) Hope business is all good!

We had a great time in Penang and 77 Bar definitely contributed it a lot to the experience. Very chilled atmosphere, friendly staff, and affordable but quality drinks, such a nice place to wind down after busy day sightseeing. Additionally, the owner (Neal) was so welcoming and he’d chat with all of the customers and share his knowledge about the city. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who visits Penang.

Great fun bar, visited with 2 friends and left with 5 new friends! Really great atmosphere, very enjoyable. Loved the Long Island Ice Bucket with a full 5 shots, excellent. Good choice of beers. Also nice to have smoking outside not in main bar. Visited last Friday night. Only open Friday-Saturday-Sunday nights. Really nice bar and not at all pretentious like some other places in George Town.

Happy first visit to 77 Bar, very welcoming friendly place where both staff and customers talk to each other. The menu is big and reasonable price for beers, wines and cocktails. Seating inside comfortable and smokers can sit out on the veranda where it is warmer. Has live music but not every night.

A very friendly and welcoming place. Gets busy after 11pm. Co owners were really friendly and were fun to drink and talk to. Drinks were decently priced and quite potent.
