Food is so-so. Small plates. Too expensive for that offer. And the lady owner is best seller one. She try to add to our order everything she want. And you don’t see the full price befor u pay. Not good, madam. And the snacks which u think is free - doesn’t )

Sorry to say...Over price & very very expensive In term of the value of dishes. Do ask for price on menu before regret. You be surprice by the price tag on Curry Fish, Chicken & etc. As per other comment earlier, taste is just average.

I had my lunch here this afternoon on 16/2/2017 with my grandma who is on a wheel chair. The middle aged lady, whom I think is the owner of this restaurant provided quite a good service where she voluntary provided me a FREE parking coupon when I could not find one initially. HOWEVER,there was an old Chinese lady, who is responsible to serve the customers, provided a horrible service. She gave me a feeling/look like I won't be able to afford for the meal whenever I ask her the price of the dishes, which I think is the right of the customer. Adding on to that, which is also the thing I hate the most in a restaurant, she charged me the wet tissue that I didn't use AT ALL. It is definitely all right to charge me anything that I use but not SIMPLY CHARGE me on the thing that I didn't even touch!! When I reminded her of that she seems to be pissed and instead, REMIND me bk by saying "just let you know that we didn't charge you for the parking coupon." and she left the table. All right things seem not that bad yet. So, when I brought my grandma leave the restaurant, she close the door immediately and ignore the difficulty i have when I tried to get my grandma (who is on the wheel chair) down of the staircase. About the food,it is average but a bit overpriced. If u don't mind paying that amount of money to such a simple food then u can gv it a try there. Thank for spending ur time to read my review.

Taste:0/5 Price:1/5 Cleanliness:3/5 Environment:3/5 My family and I were craving for Nyonya food. Went into this restaurant and the old lady showed us the menu which has only 8-10 choices in photo with no price on it. We were thinking of leaving because of not much choices but we were starving. Very disappointed with the foods. The foods are not freshly cooked. They were pre-cooked and reheated. It's absolutely overpriced. Fu Yong Tan (scramble eggs) cost RM30. Chicken Kapitan came with a big bowl only had 3 drumsticks and curry gravy cost RM35. The other 2 dishes were bleh..

Had lunch here on Sept 30th. First timer. Food is really good. We talked to the very friendly lady there, Madam Choo. The place was founded over 40 years ago by a group of passionate teachers that wishes to keep the nyonya food heritage. We had everything recommended by Madam Choo. Everything is very unique, there is no one dish that tasted the same. That means they are using different ingredients for all dishes. Impressive! Even the nutmeg drink is made by steeping nutmeg for over 8 hours. That's the real deal. We bought extra back to our hotel room, no ant.

Food has pretty complex taste, interesting, but not the best nyonya food I've had. The low star rating is because of the bad service we received from the older lady. From the moment we seated, she was pushing us to order without giving us time to think. She would suggest a few kid friendly dishes, and say, "OK?" and try to write it down on her order list. I was trying to get the kids seated and calmed while this happened. The two kid friendly dishes she suggested, egg foo young and stewed pork, turned out very complex in taste and my kids wouldn't eat them, but they did eat the pai tee. I would have ordered lor bak for them because I know my kids better. But she was so pushy and rushed. Then she pushed us to order nutmeg juice, which I didn't quite like. She just wouldn't listen to my other questions about other juice and insisted nutmeg is good. When we paid, she grabbed the tray with the invoice and the cash away, while my husband asked a nice question and needed a few more seconds. The space also smells of formaldehyde which is commonly used locally, but it have me a headache. Just had the most unpleasant lunch on our Penang visit thus fast at this place, and it wasn't even a good deal price wise.
