1st time drive to penang and cross via ferry instead of driving through penang bridge. if u r lucky with good weather, bright seaview n windy feel at the same time

ride the ferry on afternoon. it was so nice, few people ride on the ferry. its not pricey at all RM 1.2 for an adult ; RM 0.60 for child (if i'm not mistaken). its better than taking bus, faster and you wont trapped in jam.
The fare of car ferry is 2 MYR for motorbike. Amazing cheap compared to that of Langkawi Island (57-63 MYR for small scooter)! Excellent short trip to Penang Island.
I loveed this station! It's quite big but easy to access and there are signs for guidance to get anywhere you want inside the station very fast and easy. I loved the ferry as well. The trip was very fast and confi. I took many photos I will share here. There is a small shop to buy some snacks.
This ferry service is great when you travel with children. They sure will love the view from the sea. These ferries are quite old, but they are all clean and in good conditions. If you are driving, take the ferry in one of your trip in or out.
It's relatively easy to go to Georgetown from here (only took 15 minutes), the ferry is on-time, and the price is really-really cheap.
