Despite its nice location and view of mangrove trees beside the river, the place could have been better if it was administered properly. Currently looks empty everywhere. They built walkways towards the riverside where you can get closer to nature. Its situated beside the river anyway.

A must visit spot in Sungai Petani for nature lovers. Full of red forest flora and fauna. You can board a boat to island hopping from here.
Good place for mangrove ecosystem education!
Suggest to visit this place either morning or evening during the sunny day. Not many activities nearby. You can consider booking a boat tour to cruise along the Merbok River or visit the nearby Islands like pulau sonsong. The boat service is charged per boat. There are 2 types of boat available, 12 pax and 40 pax maximum capacity.
It's a nice place but unfortunately all the other stalls n shops looks like they never ever been used or operated. Such a waste. Only functioning is the restaurant selling Malay cuisine nvsome boats operating ferrying angles out to and back from fishing. The food served here is bad as well and price is a little on the high side considering being in Sungai Petani
If you are looking for sunset with lake view, yup, this is the place around. You may even observe real time prawn catching at night ( by prawn catching lover) til 2am.!! Restaurant besides supplies seafood and ikan bakar. Satisfactory but a bit pricey. A place to chill
The jetty is not so bad before going to jetty we can see house of mangrove wood process long time ago and also the atmosphere so cool
