One of the main temple in Batu Caves and is located inside the cave. Need to climb over 200 steps all the way to the top if you plan to visit this temple. No shoes are allowed inside the temple. You can find many people visit here for prayers especially during huge festive seasons.

This place never fails to amaze me! It's always crowded with tourists and local people but not amidst the pandemic season!

During MCO no access to the Temple, one can still pray or take photo from a distance. Sri Subramaniam is one of the most important Temple for Hindu community in KL. It's accessible from KL station using KTM commuter train to Batu Caves.

Batu caves murugan temple. Been here many times. 3rd tallest statue in the world. Yes the temple located on the top of the hill so visitors have to climb about 200 over steps to reach it. Some clown was mentioning it's total waste of time to climb all the steps because there is nothing to see on the top. What kind of statement is this? First of all is a temple not an entertainment center or shopping mall. It's a religious site for Hindus across the country as well world. Hindus know well the rules here. But for the rest visitors who wish to visit this temple which is also one of the most famous tourist spots in Malaysia : Dressing: there's a dress code rule but since it's not strictly enforced so many people hang around with inappropriate clothing like tights and revealing clothing. Please be in appropriate cloths. Bottle water: Try to bring along bottle drinking water, you will desperately need it if you climb to the top. There are few stalls selling the drinking water on the hill top but it will cost you 5 times greater price. Beware of monkeys: Monkeys are everywhere around this temple. Don't bring any food in carry bags as the monkey mighy attack you for the food. Selfie and photography: it's a famous activity here. Nothing wrong about it but please make sure you not blocking the way when you pose for the picture especially during Thaipusam. I got witnessed the scenario where while the devotees carrying milk and kavadi climbing the steps some posers without sense blocking the way to take few selfie shots.

Came here to fulfill my assignment for my university. When i arrived, omg it's so beautiful. The colorful of stairs are really shook my eyes. Not recommend for old people because you have to climb up to see at the hill. Make sure to warm up before going up because you're gonna feel the pain after that. Please came here with your professional photographer if you want you picture came out perfect.
