The company was initially registered as Aik Cheong Trading Co and incorporated as a private limited company in Malaysia on 16 December 1989. This brought about a formal company name change as the company started to trade under AS Aik Cheong Transport & Trading Sdn. Bhd. (ASAC) moniker. As the company continues to grow, several subsidiaries involved in the provision of transportation-related services were established. Principally involved in providing haulage and delivery services and right from the very start, customers service has been the bastion of the company success and as it continues to charter new waters, it shall remain the hallmark of the operations.
