We booked to travel from Penang to Ko Phi Phi today. We were pleased to be promptly picked up at 4.45am, from then on there were countless delays and total lack of communication between the driver and passengers. We stopped approximately 15 times before reaching the border for unknown reasons. Upon arriving at the border the driver yelled "out out" several times, there was a delay crossing the border, with a wait of 70mins. We swapped vans in an unknown town before reaching Hat Yai, waiting here again for sometime. Upon reaching Hat Yai those in the office were very rude and told us to wait 90mins with no explanation. We arrived in Krabi to realise the last ferry to Ko Phi Phi had left some hours ago. At this point we had been travelling for 15 hours whilst the entire trip was supposed to take 11. We have booked and paid for accommodation in Ko Phi Phi. We are very disappointed to have received no compensation for the delay, and additional accommodation expenses. We hope you can cover these.
