I had a great time at TRACC earlier this year as part of the A -Level group. I 100% recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the underwater world. Incredible teachers and the most amazing setting.

We stayed as a couple for three weeks with tracc on pom pom and both absolutely loved it. I learned to dive (open water and advanced) and was teached by competent and patient instructors which relied to my own speed of learning which was very cool and helps a lot. The volunteer work is fun and always well explained to learn sonething about the research, conservation and all the aquatic life and what is going on below the surface. We would recommend this to anybody who loves a chilled life at the beautiful beach and some good work for a good reason and with lovely people! Thank you tracc for the amazing time - it was over too early...

You just can’t sum up how amazing this place is with just words but I’m going to try my best. It’s a completely amazing experience that is unique for everyone; the dives, the people, the food, even the weather changes all the time but in such fantastic ways. I spent 4 of the best months of my life here learning how to not only become the best diver I could be, but what I want to do with my life going forward. The conservation and restoration is TRACCs heart and soul and the amount of work you get to try is truest rewarding. Plus the amazing people you meet here make everything 110x better. There no doubt I am definitely coming back when I have the chance. If you’re considering coming to TRACC, please do. It’s a total adventure: I have never been to Malaysia before, never mind across the Pacific, and didn’t know anyone here, but this place felt like home in no time. Can’t wait to see ya on the island!

I spent 8 weeks volunteering with TRACC over the Christmas 2019, New year period into February 2020. An incredible organizing which relies on volunteers to join the tropical research projects. Days were spent scuba diving maintaining artificial reefs and coral rehabilitation structures. There were also on land projects for us to keep busy with such as constructing 'artificial reefs' ready to be deployed on the reef substrate around Pom Pom island. Beach clean ups were regularly scheduled, as well as creating 'Ecobricks' from plastic bottles packed hard with soft clean food wrappers. An amazing organization which operates in a very eco-friendly manner. We all lived simply on the island, and had basic requirements met and were all extremely comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend TRACC to anyone thinking where to volunteer next, where to travel to next, where to have an amazing time alongside like minded people, helping our marine environment out 'one coral, one turtle and one shark' at a time. Thanks TRACC !
