Nice place to explore. But please note. This is a disused Quarry and can be dangerous. If you follow the path north it passes though old Rubber Plantations before ending at a very large reservoir.
No doubt the lake was just a man made due to quarry mining some years ago, it turned out to be a beautiful sight of huge Lake and the colours of the lake water will reflect how the sky will be on the particular day of your visit. Yes, it was a no entry due to Private Property but, who would able to resist such beautiful views. Currently (Nov 2020), a lot of new/avid Hikers including cycling team entering this area on daily basis and of course during Public holidays and weekends this place will be crowded, some hikers comes on daily basis as a form of exercise and some comes from different districts just taking the opportunity to take nice pictures for their IG's and some just taking the opportunity to keep a memory or two as eventually the rightful owner will closed it for Public. My personal advice, keep the place clean, hike with caution avoid putting yourself at risk for any attempt of taking great angle of IG/FB post, hoping the property owner will not impose on restrictions visiting the lake. Pls don't swim in here (I almost drowned ). Not a good fishing spot. You can cycle up here after you drag your MTB pass the construction fence as this place is actually a private property.

The photos uploaded by people are so enticing but the reviews and the locations to the place are not so appropriate. I spent one hour finding the location and none knew where it was and people who knew said that it's restricted and can't be entered. I found a gate which was locked and there are signs that read "danger" "don't enter" So people, don't be tempted to click cool photos like other have posted here. If caught by the police, you're liable to pay fine
