Being someone who likes to visit historical places, I would give this place a 5-star. Well maintained. On one side rests those in the Indian Army and on the other side rests the British Army. Some of the words on the gravestone are really touching. Gates were closed but I climbed over the short wall to take a brief look before jumping out again.

The War Cemetery is well maintained and honors the soldiers of the Allied forces that gave their lives in the defence of Malaya during the WW2. The gravestones documents the name of the soldier and the regiment he represented and also the date he fell. There are also gravestones without the names of the soldiers as they are unknown. Very touching and solemn cemetery.
One of the most somber places in Malaysia, with many graves of fallen soldiers of the Allied forces from World War Two. Best to visit at daybreak when the sun peeks up behind Maxwell Hill
