One of the places to visit to learn more about how coffee beans are roasted. Visitors also get to taste the various types of coffee here before purchasing them. An added bonus is a visit to the villa which was previously occupied by Chen Cuifen, the revolutionary partner of Sun Yat-sen, who was also rumoured to have stayed here for a while. A number of antiques used before are also displayed for visitors to see

Enjoyed visiting this historic place. It's a coffee factory where they come up with interesting flavours like charcoal roasted white coffee, golden white coffee, durian coffee and many more. I'm not a coffee person so I'm not giving comments on it's quality but my hubby enjoyed the charcoal roasted white coffee. But what I liked about this place is that it is also where Sun Yat San stayed when he visited Taiping many years back. Some of the things used by him and his wife are still there. It's a small sweet little place.

A must for coffee lovers. This mill is acknowledged as the oldest charcoal coffee mill in the world and still operating until today. You can see how they make coffee traditionally and taste all of their coffee products. They also provide biscuits (biskut lutut) to dip with your coffee. Then you can visit their museum and buy their products. I must recommend their Antong Golden coffee. Nice and rich flavour.

Interesting place for coffee lovers. You will be taken back in time of how coffee was produced then. There's a section where they show you how coffee is made the olden ways. There's also a variety of coffee produce which you can sample and buy if you like what you have tasted.
