A remarkable surau with a lengthy list of accomplishments in the neighborhood, Surau Al Muttaqin has been a prized landmark for residents of Taman Damai and since its foundation in 2006, the surau has been a centre of social activities for the community. Every resident carries the responsibility of enriching the surau with their presence during prayer times to ensure a tight-knit relationship between neighbors. It has also won many competitions in the past, such as Best Surau in Kuala Berang and other awards.
