I am not a local so I don't know the background of the restaurant. We went there for dinner and we were not very hungry so we didn't order rice. We ordered hua tan mee n sinchew bihun to share. The portions are really huge but the taste were just okay, not particularly incredible. However, we loved the salted egg bitter gourd. That was the best out of the four dishes we ordered.

Everything was so delicious. The prawn was expensive but huge! We had the oatmeal prawn and really tasty. Salted egg soft shell crab also ridiculously delicious
This my first dinning here and over heard conversation between my friends with the new owner, totally different and many changes. Too much information on their way of cooking does not bring up great impression. First they had over cooked the steam LaLa. Crabs size a little smaller size compare to nearby Kampung serving. Many previous dishes they don't serve them anymore. Well they willing to walk through all their menu with you.
It was a very delicious food as long time I have never been eat food such like this... It was a very good experience...yummy food.

This place is quite hidden from the main road. Food is nice at reasonable price. I had the kampung crabs, steam lala with scallops, bitter guard fried with egg and deep fried sotong. The food is fabulous. You should give it a try when your in Lumut. Highly recommended.
