Home of Catholic Nuns. In the early 60's the convent was located opposite the St. Teresa Church. Then it was relocated at it's present location. Earlier on before the govt hospital was upgraded from a dispensary/clinic, the nuns of St. Joseph Convent ran a maternity home. Since the Serian dispensary/clinic was upgraded, the maternity home was closed then the convent operated a kindergarten.
