Particle is an online literary journal published biannually, created to nurture the passion of literature and writing among world-weary students rooted in a humdrum existence. We aim to seek out and deliver creative pieces by contemporary writers within the academic and scholarly society. Founded in 2013 by the School of English in the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC), Particle was initially limited to students and staff of the three international University of Nottingham campuses. In hopes of expanding our search for talented writers among the academic society, we are now open to all universities in Malaysia, China, and the United Kingdom. The online magazine is compiled by a team of staff and student editors who select and edit the creative submissions we receive.
