If you’re in Sepilok there’s a good chance that your coming here anyway but if you’re only coming for the orangutans then you should also make time to come here. The centre is open from 9-3.30. We arrived at 9am and proceeded to the viewing platform and were greeted with around 5/6 bears waiting for their breakfast. They make the most wonderful barking noise. These poor bears and some Of the most persecuted animals in the world so you definitely need to show your support!

What a great experience! Well worth the 31.80 ringgit they charge foreign visitors. We spent almost 2 hours here. At the start they have a series of well produced videos documenting a lot of the work the BSBCC has done for these bears. I'm not sure why some people are complaining about how far away the bear are (this isn't supposed to be a zoo after all) because it definitely wasn't true for my visit. Some of the bears we're less than 10 meters away. Even the bears further back in the different areas were still easy enough to see. They even had a couple telescopes set out so you could see them up close. The facility is very nice and I saw many other animals and interesting insects along the way. This was just as much fun as the orangutan sanctuary!

The bears are Soo cute! And it feels nice to visit animals while feeling that the payment goes to helping them rather than harming them. The conservatory seems to be doing good work to rehabilitate the bears and to care for those that cannot manage on their own. All the bears have their own names and stories which are nice to read about. We also saw a small snake, nothing dangerous and very pretty.

The bear were cute and adorable. This was my first time saw sun bear in whole life. It was opposite with the orang Utan park. I am really happy to saw them. Beside, this park also awesome you can relax more ur mind and enjoy the nature. I think the ticket still at average level and ur can see a lot of other wildlife animal in that park. So why not you should try it. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place & magnificent work they do on protecting a really beautiful species, went here after visiting the orangutan sanctuary as it is directly opposite. The bears are viewed from a overhead walkway as they are kept in a very, very large open enclosure to provide them with the protection they need and by the looks of it they are very content, lounging, sleeping & playing in theit surroundings.

Great place to bring kids and family to educate them about wildlife especially sun bears. One of a few places that has air conditioned toilets.

Wicked knowledgeable staff. Truly passionate people working for a good cause. Great reserve. Arguably more enjoyable than the orangutan sanctuary across the street.
