Good for kids
Visit this back in early March before the shutdown. It's an unusual garden inside the botanical garden of Putrajaya and dedicated to ferns. One of the most ancient and dominant species of plants until flowering plants came to dominate after their appearance in the Lower Cretaceous. It does a good job of explaining the difference between ferns and flowering plants. While not as attractive as flowers, it was still interesting to see all the symmetric patterns of the fern leaves.
like
a small collection of ferns growing on the ground or hanging in baskets/pots on both side of the track. nice place for taking photo. the ferns are not individually tagged so it is quite difficult to properly identify them
