I will rate TNB is the worst customer service experience ever I have encountered in my life. Sincerely believe it is a monopolized business in the country where they decide what they can do to you. Zero humanity. They don't even want to listen to the extent of treating consumer like a ball where they kick you around and ultimately come back to square one.

I don't usually review places like TNB, but since I have been back so often over the past years (due to nature of my work), I thought - why not ? When I think of TNB customer service, I cringe. If possible, I would do whatever I can to avoid going to this office. Parking along the road facing this office, is almost impossible. So, you got to park in the nearby parking building. For the first hour, it costs RM 1.50. After parking, you join the general inquiry queue. Ok, I must give credit to TNB for having shorten this queue over the years. In fact, just today, there is another lady assisting the lady at the general inquiry country by asking customers what help they need. She was friendly and served with a smile. Waiting time isn't too long. I came to close an account for another person and forgot to bring a photocopy of his IC. So, I wished TNB could provide printing services in their office or at least allow us to send a digital copy. Since there was none, I walked over to the printing shop nearby.. just to print the IC and complete the requirements of TNB to close an account. I felt like TNB was just there to make life hard, make the whole process difficult, and get you to make another trip to their office. Just a feeling. Anyway, once the IC was printed, the whole process went smoothly. Waiting time was short. TNB you are improving your services - digital app to check TNB bills, kiosk to pay bills etc, yet there is still more to go.

Arrive at 9.07am and I was done by 9.45am. Fast and efficient for me. It took long was because of me filling up the form - I need some time. Came on a Tuesday. My business with TNB today was New home owner register for new meter. Make sure to bring your SNP and photocopy of IC here and it will be faster. Actually, they can photostat for you - they thought I didn't bring. So, they photostat for me but better be safe than sorry. I dealt with customer service officer Arshad - very friendly and nice. Can pay by cash or card for the deposit RM500. Again, didn't want to take any chances, I brought cash with me. We photostat at shop around the area which only open at 9am.

Very disappointed with the service. I had submit application to close electricity account on 27 Sep 2019 and the officer said within 3 days, they will remove the meter and can check the final bill. Until now 7 Oct 2019 ( 10days) still not yet remove the meter and i can't make payment. My question to them, WHO WILL PAY THE BILL for that 10 days? Maybe another tenants already stay there. Care line TNB also can't give me the fone number of this branch, i'm now stay in Penang. This how they cheats the customer's money. Very poor service..

Tnb the mostraditional loudy service GLC Cooking halfway suddenly no electricity...all my cooking 1/2way cook.. call to check15454 Tanya lagi Baru breakdown kah...What is the optimum future control by such silly blood sucking organization...Generate bukan bukan punya bill...Either not deliver bill or bill wrongly ..n the WORSThing bill LATE PAYMENT CHARGES.. Disgraceful

I was there recently to change my TNB bill from my Dad(deceased) to my name. The actual change of name took only about 15 minutes including filing of required forms and proof of my residence via others utilities bills like assessment bill. The staff was very helpful and help me with forms while I was queuing up for my number. The surprise comes when I submitted the forms for the refund of the my Dad's deposit to my bank account. I was told that refund will take 1 month but within 1 week the balance of the deposit was credited to my bank account. It was really a painless process. Syabas TNB.. Great job and a big TQ.
